At the conclusion of the match, Mr. Bryant in handing the cup over to Mi 1 . Ralfe, captain of the Bulls team, ongratulated him on again securing the trophy. This would probably be the last match played this„ season, as the days were drawing in quickly, but the Foxton team would be unable to challenge this year, but would do so early next season. The Foxton team expected to bo much stronger next year, for, on acquiring the new grounds, many erstwhile players had signified their intention of joining up again, and he 1 gave a hearty invitation to Bulls members to be at Foxton’s opening next season. Cheers were given for the winners. Mi'. Ralfe, in reply, thanked the Foxton members for the pleasant time and the hospitality extended to them. They had brought their strongest team and had secured what they had come for. Although they had won handsomely on “sets" these had been very stubbornly con- . tested, as the number of games proved. He congratulated Foxton on securing a new site for its courts. Bulls gave three cheers.for the Foxton team, and also for the ladies who provided refreshments.
