VISIT FROM LEVIN CLUB TOMORROW.
To-morrow afternoon three rinks from Levin Club will visit Foxton, and pass The time in friendly-play. Local boAvlcrs are asked to be on the green as early as possible, so as to faeiliate arrangements for the placing of rinks. Also boAvlcrs and croquet are asked to bring a basket, to assist Avith the catering arrangements. MAN-SON AND BARR CUP. A match for the Manson and Barr Cup was played at the ManaAvatu greens, on Saturday, when a Takaro rink, Tanner Littlejohn, Morgan, Tantrum (Iskip) beat a home team, Edwards, Davies, Bradford, Spooner (skip). ManaAvatu scored on the first head, but Takaro drew ahead and led 4 —l at the fourth head. ManaAvatu evehed matters at the sixth head, the score being five all. Takaro then gained four, but a four and a three soon came the way of their opponents. The score was 11 all at the lltli head. Takaro then went ahead, and at the 20th head were ‘2O to their opponents’ 14. The last head satv them increase their lead by one, making the score 21—14.
