STANLEY McKAY’S PANTOMIME COMPANY.
At the De Luxe Theatre, Levin, on Friday and Saturday, 26th and 27th February, Stanley McKay’s Pantomime Company, direct from the Grand Opera House, Wellington, will play a session_of two nights and a matinee.. “Little 80-Peep” will be staged on Friday night and “The Forty Thieves” on Saturday, matinee and night. “Little 80-Peep” and “The Forty Thieves” are brimfull of real comedy, latest songs and dances, excellent specialities and beautiful scenery, and dresses. Special attention has been paid to the principals. The dame is Arthur Meredith, who is assisted by Frank Perryn. Miss Laurie McLeod is the principal boy and Marjorie Abraham principal girl. Maudie Stewart, Australia’s funniest girl, is also in the company. Among the principals are three with big English reputations, A. E. Bonham, a wonderful singer, who is a protege of Madam Melba, Miss Ruth Bucknail, a lyric soprano, whose flutelike voice has a range of three octaves. Miss Buckuall has sung with great success in the Albert and Queen’s Hall in London. Another great artist is Miss Rene Rich, Sydney’s leading violinist, who isdeseribed as one of the most brilliant artists in the world. Variety is added hv the Eleven Wonder
