ENTERTAINMENTS.

ROYAL PICTURES

The cattle kings! Sit by their camp tires when the lights are twinkling across the silent prairies. Listen to their roaring songs of love and work and tight. Hear their tales of daring deeds and loving hearts —men untamed, unconquered in adversity, strong men and lusty, men me who risked all on the throw of a dice and met life or death with a smile. See “Sundown” at the Royal to-night. Betty Blythe, the popular film star, whom the cablegram recently announced had been kidnapped by Bedouins, appears in the Graham Wjlcox production, “Southern Love,” at the Royal on Monday. The story is one of Gipsy love, and Southern passion. Betty Blythe’s productions are always noted for the dressings, and settings, and “Southern Love” is no exception to the rule.

On Wednesday and Thursday next “The White Sister” starring Lillian Gish will be shown. The screening will be preceded by a beautiful prologue specially written for “The White Sister,” and on Thursday a special matinee at which children will be admitted at reduced prices. ADVENTURE DRAMA AT, 1 TOWN HALL. Edmund Lowe, star of “Greater Than A Crown” at the Town Hall to-night gives a line characterisation. He plays the role of a dashing young American who becomes involved, while in London, in a romantic and diplomatic intrigue concerning the marriage of two persons of high European estate. Needless to say, the hero upsets all the best laid plans of the intriguers and alter several lights and an exciting motor chase carriers off a bride into the bargain. Suporting the big feature are a special monkey comedy “Westward Wltou,” a variety lilm “The Violin Speaks” and the latest Fox News. Prices as usaul. A great, mystery story of twin sisters, one living in wealth in high society, and the other amid crooks in Chinatown, is promised at the Town Hall on Monday when "Cornered’ is being screened.
