LIVE SHELL PRACTICE.

WARNING TO PUBLIC,

The public is warned that live shell practice will be indulged in by the 6th Battery next week over Messrs Robinsons’ property'. The she:ls will be lired from ie racecourse over the sandhills towards the sea. The tiring will take place daily between 6 a.m. aud 7 a.m. and on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 9 a.m. anl 4 p.m.

The 6th Battery, comprising 5 officers and 120 men, arrived at Palmerston n is morning by train from Napier and arrived at the c imp by motor lorries. They will remain in camp until Saturday next.
