Dunedin, February 6

Arising from a prank by two boys, in stealing a mail bag, and th’c subsequent examination of the contents by detectives, Communist literature was traced to the possession of a young married compositor, Ken netli McLean Baxter, who pleaded guilty this morning to having seditious literature in his possession for distribution or sale. It was stated that accused was going to Australia, and sold the furniture and literature in question to get money. The document was consigned to some one on the West Coast. On condition that he leaves New Zealand, Baxter was ordered to come up for sentence if called upon.
