UNITED SPORTS ASSOCIATION

A comittee meeting of the above was held in the Racing Club offices on Thursday night, presided over by the President (Mr. T. W. Jewell). Also present were Messrs D. Christie, Pearson, M. E. Perreau, D. Ogilvy, D. R. Barron, F. A. Mason, 11. Hutchins, G. Alexander, S. Austin and the secretary (Mr. F. Rimmer). An apology for absence was received from Mr. J. M. Thomson. Details in connection with the forthcoming sports meeting, to he held on the racecourse on Saturday, February 27th., were discussed and officials’ were, appointed.

It was decided to hold a dance in the Town Hall on Thursday, February 25th. Arrangements in connection with the chopping and sawing entries on sports day were left in the hands of Mr. H. Hutchins. Business of minor importance was discussed and the meeting terminated with a vote of thanks to the chair.
