REVOLTING A TROCITIES

London, February 4. Atrocities incredible in any part of the globe described by Mr. Donohoe in continuing the narrative in the “Daily Chronicle” of Turkish atrocities in the northern part of tire Mosul province.

“Ishi Is sap, 20 years of age, and married, said: “>I was seized at Baijo with the rest of the villagers. The Turks took my sister, myself, and other women into a house. The head man of the village was there. Three soldiers seized me, tore off my clothes when I resisted, and each assaulted me. My sister was similarly treated in the same room. On the second day’s march the Turks killed twenty old men and women because they were no longer able to walk. On the third day the soldiers seized four women, who resisted violently.” Ishi proceeded: “Thereupon the soldiers tox - e off my clothes. They did revolting tilings. When a women cried, ‘Oh, God, have pity on me!’ the Turks jeered. Three were beaten until they died. A fourth was -cut down unconscious and treated shamefully and became insane.” Ishi gave the names of those concerned.

Mikhail Poles, a peasant lad, said: “1 was deported with the rest of the villiage. My mother was unable to walk, and fell. A soldier called her a Christian dog, struck her with his rifle butt, and picked up a big stone and struck her twice. When lie was satisfied she was dead lie spat on the body. I fell on my mother’s corpse, and soldiers prodded me with their bayonets.”
