CAMP NOTES.

Despite the inclement weather, there was a fair’ attendance of the local public at the “at home” given by the Officers, N.C.O.’s and men of the 19 th Medium Battery encamped on the racecourse, yesterday afternoon. Shelter was afforded the visitors in the grandstand, from where a good view of the proceedings was obtained. xlt the conclusion of the demonstration the visitors were entertained at afternoon tea and despite the inclement conditions a very pleasant time was spent by all present.

The Mayor (Mr. Perreau) suitably acknowledged the hospitality extended to the public.
