PAHIATUA MEETING CONCLUDES.
The Pahiatua races concluded on Thursday in perfect weather. The totalisator took £26,241 for the two days as against £23,056 far last year’s meeting. Results:—Trial Hack Handicap: —Crown Reel 1, Sir Lucullus 2, Regal Star 3. Won by a length. Time 1.16 4-5.
Pongaroa High Weight Handieop: —Sariy 1, Agitato 2, Our Jack 3. Won by a neck. Time 1.30. Tiraumea Hack Handicap:— Bonidcer 1, Cherry Pie 2, The Bolter 3. Won by three quarters of a length. Time 1.2. Mangahao Handicap:—Modern 1, Son O’Mine 2, Mountain Top 3. Won by two lengths. Time 1.54. Tararua Hack Handicap:—Lady Ideal 1, Morning Gift 2, Veronia 3. Won by three lengths. Time 1.16 4-5.
Lane Hack Handicap:—Bright Knight 1, Panart 2, Srongholt 3. Won bv two lengths. Time 1.28 1-5.
Electric Handicap:—King Cheops 1, Blonde 2, Westbroke 3. Won by a length. Time 1.15 4-5. Farewell Welter: —Desert Knight 1, Sarty 2. Our Jack .3 Won by two lengths. Time 1.23 1-5.
