REVOLVERS A CURSE.
WOULD-BE BANK ROBBER’S ADDITIONAL SENTENCE. Auek 1 and, Yest erd ay. "Revolvers are a curse and it is a serious mater to carry them about.” said Air. J. W'. Boynton, S.M., at the Police Court this morning, when George Joseph Marshall, who was recently sentenced to five years’ imprisonment for attempting to rob the Newmarket branch of (lie Auckland Savings Bank, appeared on a charge of carrying a revolver without a license. “In order to make apparent the seriousness of the thing, I will sentence Marshall to three months’ imprisonment.' He is already serving a long sentence, so that the three months will be concurrent.”
