OBITUARY.

CHARLES ADIN, AGED 80 YEARS. There passed away at the Palmerston Hospital on Sunday last, a well-known and pioneer Eoxton district resident in the person of Charles Adin, aged 80 years, after a brief illness. The late Mr. Adin was born in Liverpool and arrived in Auckland about 69 years ago. He settled in Eoxton about 50 years ago and followed farming pursuits, and for many years lived near the Whirokino bridge. He leaves a widow, four sons (Charles, William, Henry and Frederick) and two daughters (Mrs Sapsford and Mrs Andresen) and twelve grandchildren to mourn their loss. Deceased was interred in the local cemetery on Tuesday, the Rev. W. H. Walton officiating at the graveside.
