EX-FOXTON RESIDENT DISAPPEARS.
An Auckland Press Association message says:— “Edgar David Hamilton McEwen, an accountant, has been missing since January 11. lie left a letter to his wife, stating that he was gradually going mad and had decided to die. He wrote to his cmployecs in the same strain, coneluding: “When you get this, 1 will be among the dead men.’’ It is thought lie is probably still alive, but has left Auckland.” SAFE AND WELL. Later. The missing man has been located sate and well on board the scow Kaitaia at Tologa Bay.
