BOOKMAKERS FINED. Auckland January 4. Three bookmakers arrested on Saturday, pleaded guilty in the Poliee Court this morning and were lined sums aggregating £350. Thomas Leeee was fined £2OO, Henry James Abraham £IOO and William Beresford £SO. Detective Cummings said that Beresford did his betting in a city hotel, Leeee in a billiard saloon and Abraham in the street. All made bets with a constable. PAHIATUA RACING CLUB.
