ENTERTAINMENTS.

ROYAL PICTURES. The feature at the Royal theatre to-morrow night is hilled ns “Dangerous Odds” and is the newest release in which Bill Cody, western stunt actor of rare personality and ability, appears. In this, Cody plays a part which is very similar to some of the incidents in his own life. He is east as a clean-cut young western gentleman who has just returned from an agricultural college to lake over the range holdings left him by bis father. Supporting C'ody is Eileen Sedgwick, a winsome young girl very much of the western type, who rides well and acts convincingly. Prince Serge M-devani, a member of the Russian royal family, has become a movie actor. He plays a small role in .support of Milton Sills ami Doris Kenyon in “I Want My Man," to be shown at the Royal theatre next Saturday. A good picture well worth seeing.

JAMES OLIVER CURWOOD DRAMA AT TOWN HALL.

Rich in treatment, swift in action, “The Hunted Woman” leaps out as a screen triumph worthy of the author who wrote the novel. Seena Owen and Cyril Chadwick are the leading players. A A r an Bidder comedy “Guest of Honour, “My Lady’s Perfume,” educational, and Fox News complete the programme. Prices as usual 9d & 1/(5, children 3d and (id.

Thrills! Laughter! They run a dead heat in the. most exciting and ludicrous picture that Douglas Alaolean has yet appeared in, and it is worth anybody’s money to see him in “Going Up,” which has been adapted from the famous musical comedy success, and heads the programme at the Town Hall on Monday.

Harold Lloyd’s great comedy “Girl Shy” at present delighting Palmerston North audiences is just one of the big holiday attractions at the Town Hall.
