FEILDING YOUTH’S FATAL TRIP. Feilding, December, 7. A distressing shooting fatality occurred at Waitata, 12 miles from Feilding yesterday. Basil Kitchen, aged 19, employed on a farm, was out shooting, and did not return. A search being made the body was found at 4 o’clock this morning. He evidently tripped over a rata root and the gun exploded, and the charge entered his head. Death was instantaneous.
