FROZEN MEAT MARKET.
Alessrs. Levin & Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated 4th December, 1925. “Frozen meat quotations (prices on a delivered basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, tolls etc). Down lambs 28/42’s, none offering; best North Island 28/42’s, 9§d per lb; ordinary North Island 28/42’s, 9Ad per 11); second quality lambs 28/42’s, 9*d per lb; best North Island wether sheep 48/64’s, 7 id per lb; best North Island wether sheep 64/72’s, 7d. per lb; ordinary North Island wether sheep 48/64’s, 7d per lb; North Island owes 48/64’s, 4:{d per lb; North Island owes 64/72’s, 44d per lb; New Zealand Prime ox beef 160/220’s, 42d per lb. There is a general decline of id. per lb. in all grades with exception of best North Island and second quality lamb which are id per lb. cheaper. Prime ox beef is id per lb. dearer. The market is quiet with very little inquiry.
London Wool sales. Messrs. Levin & Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated 4th De- - e-ember, 1925. “The wool sales arc suspended owing to fog.” ”° - m
