Levin & Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from thqir London agents, dated 27th November, 1925. “Frozen meat quotations (prices on a “delivered" basis, i.e., including storage charge's, cartage, tolls, etc.) Down lambs 2S/42’s, none oil wring; best North Island 28/42’s, 9id per lb; ordinary North Island 28/42’s, Dg<l per lb; second quality lambs 28/42’s, 9id per lb; best North Island wether sheep 48/04’s, 7jjd per lb; best North Island wether sheep 04/72’s, 7Ad per lb; ordinary North Island wether sheep 18/04’s, 7A cl per lb; North Island ewes 48/04’s, 4Jd per lb; North Island ewes 04/72’s, 4MI per lb; New Zealand prime ox beef 100/220’s, 4ijd per lb. As compared with last '.week’s quotations, best also ordinary lamb is (id cheaper, second quality lamb pi. cheaper, wethers id to |d cheaper.’ Ewes Jd to jd cheaper, beef I<l cheaper. The market is stagnant, there is practically no demand: indications are that bottom prices have not yet been reached.
