T HTA NfIULAR CONTEST. The final round of the Triangular contest will be played at Levin tomorrow, weather permitting. Tbo conveyance for the transport of local players will leave the green at 1.15 o’clock. MANSON AND BARR CUP. The first match for the Munson and Barr cup was played at the greens of the holders, the Palmerston North Bowling Club, on Saturday, when a close game resulted in a win for the visitors. The rinks were: C. Jennings, A. Bissett, F. Britland (s), for Pahiatua and G. Wilson, Tattersall, Morris and G. H. Trott (s) Palmerston North. On the sixth head Pahiatua led 6—9, but Palmerston North made a three and placed themselves in the lead. The visitors retaliated by scoring on the next four heads, and altered the score to 17 —12 in their favour. The home rink succeeded in passing this, however, and then when Paliiatua drew level on the seventeenth head the score was 20 all. Palmerston scored two and one, the score on the 20th head being 23—22 in the favour of Pahiatua. The latter scored another three on the last head, and won 26 —22.
