TENNIS NOTES.

A Yankee Tournament will be held on Saturday, commencing at 1.30 p.m. Entrance fee will be 1/-, and the prizes, two pairs of balls.

A match with the Levin Tennis Club has been arranged for Saturday, 28th November. Members likely to represent the Club, are urged to get in as much practice as possible.

The ladder has been put in order for the season, and as the Match Committee are desirous of picking the teams for inter-club matches from the Ladder positions, members are asked to play as many matches as possible.

The tea days have ben drafted out and posted up in the pavilion. The handicaps for the various competitions will be made out by the end of the month.

Then Hon. Treasurer, Mr. Caughley, would like to receive members’ subscriptions as soon as possible. Under the Club’s rules, all suberiptions must be in by the 31st December.

Robinson, 10th .Jan.; Mrs McMurray and Miss J. Me Murray, 30th dan.; Misses E. Owen and B. Pcryman, Oth Pel).; Mrs Ball and Mrs McLaren, 13th Feb.; Mrs Davy and Miss Arnold, 20th Feb.; Mrs and Miss Austin, 27th Feb.; Mrs Bryant and Miss Pearson, Oth Mar.; Misses Sime and Mullaney, 13th March.
