For Monday evening next (sports night) the management have arranged for the appearance of the original Fred Foley now on his second world’s tour. This versatile performer presents an entertainment of a highly diversified and varied character embracing- as it does Oriental magic, ventriloquism, cartoons, and Hand Shadows. ROYAL PICTURES. After the police officials had decided that suspicion point about equally to every person in the mansion where a bank president’s body had been found in front of the room occupied by the wife of another, the discovery was made that the body was missing. Cody is supported by Ena Gregory, beautiful seventeen-year old ingenue, Joe Bennett Monte Collins, Arthur Morrison, Joan Lowell and Edward Coxen. Re-engagement of Mr. Abe! Rowe, New Zealand populnr community singer is also announced by the management. Mott ton is to be given a musical treat next Wednesday by the Shannon Choral Society. The Committee is looking forward to support from Foxton residents. The concert, which is very well spoken of is being given by a body of forty mixed voices, under the capable baton of MV. Howard Andrew, of Levin. The humorous quartette are ii feature of the concert. The funds are in aid of the Montoa Hall and all who attend are in for a very enjoyable entertainment. A dance will follow the concert. Madge Bros, char-a-banc will take local residents out to Moutoa.
