MUSIC EXAMINATIONS.

The following are (lie results of the music examinations held at St. Mary’s Convent this week: —

Teachers Diploma (practical): — A.T.C.L.: Ruby Algar, 70; higher Local, Madge MeColl, 60; Intermediate Mary Wright, 71; Junior, Ima Banal, 76; Preparatory, Alston Easton, 74; First Steps, Nita Carter, 81 Dis.; First Steps, Ella Hutchings, 77. Miss Patterson’s pupil Mona Moore was also present and gained 74 marks in the Preparatory Division. Mr. Cundell expressed himself as being very pleased with splendid technique and relaxation displayed in the pupil’s work. Nine pupils where presented and seven were successful. The two diploma candidates who did gain certificates were highly commended for their work, but were considered too youthful for the advanced work they had undertaken.
