Messrs. Levin & Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated 4th September, 1925. “Frozen meat quotations (prices on a “delivered” basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, tolls etc.,) Down lambs 28/42’s, Hid per lb; best North island 28/42’s, 11 per lb; ordinary North island .28/42’s, 10£d per lb; second quality lambs ilfd per lb; best North Island Wether sheep 48/(l4’s, T-Jd per lb; best North Island wether sheep 64/72’s, 7d per lb; ordinary North Island wether sheep 48/64’s, 7id per lb; North Island ewes 48/64’s, s|d per lb; North Island ewes 64/72’s, sid per lb; New Zealand prime ox beef 160/220’s, 4id per lb. As compared with last week there is no quotable change in the maxlet. Market quiet but steady with a ibetter tendency all round. Demand Lor mutton good, especially ewes.
