Eoxton, 2.45 p.m., No. 1. AH. A. R. Cliffe (secretary) on behalf of the Eoxton delegate, who was unavoidably absent, stated that the Eoxton Club was somewhat dissatisfied with the selection of players to represent the district. It was felt that Eoxton was entitled lo representative honours, and the speaker felt that it was deserved. Mr. Broughton said that two Foxton players had been selected for a B team, but whether they did not want to play in just a B team he did not know. Anyway, the players did not turn out. He did not think that fair play. There were no players in Eoxton really up to representative standard.

It was decided to write Foxton expressing regret at that fact.
