Sir, these car owners forg'd that some /ample .-til! ride to town on horseback and why should they not have some place to hitch their “neddy" while doing five minutes business/ Furthermore, what would the man on the street do while lie related and enlarged ctirirnt events, telling old fables and inventing new? lie would have no where to re.-.I his weary body while waiting' for work, i trust sir, these old hind marks will he left where they arc. They arc not nearly so useless and unsightly as the “Gun on the Green.” —Yours etc., OLD TIMER.
