FOXTON SILVER BAND.
At a meeting of the Foxtail Silver Band. Incorporated, the following resolution was moved by th'e chairman. Mr. J. Ailehi-on, secondmi ii\- Mr J. Hofmann. “In view of Mr. D. \Y. Robertson reconsidering his resignation, it gives me very much pleasure in proposing that he should take over the duties of scerelnryship, as 1 feel under his aide abilities that something can le done to bring this hand together, ami would ask him to accept the position of secretary empowering him to proceed individually to meet the dissenting laxly, with a view to reconciliation.”
Mr. Robertson subsequently accepted lire position and wrote as follows: —i have accepted the position of Secretary of the Foxlon Silver Baud solely for the purpose of acting as arbitrator be;wren the two bodies, ami with this cinl in view do hereby ask the disseming body to appoint a dv legate to meet me aj a given date to ur--ange pieliminary proceedings — (Signed) David \Y.
