TOM AIEIGHAN AT CABARET. •“Tongues of Elaine," Thomas Meighan's newest picture which screens at the Town Hall Cabaret to-morrow evening, is that kind of a production that sends one out of tin l theatre with the conviction that all’s well in I lie movie world after all —so far as Tom's concerned at least. The story tells of Hell Fire Harrington, so mimed for his prowess in the Great War and when lie ieiiiriicd, the money grasping capitalist of the town used him as a tool in a swindle. But when Harrington found out that lie had been the dupe, that capitalist found out just where Harrington had earned his name. Of course Meighan plays Hell Eire Harrington and is supported by a cast which includes Bessie Love and Eileen Percy. “Nerve Tonic" is the comedy, other items being "Ilarvesling the Golden Elece.e" and News. Usual Cabaret prices.

Louis .Joseph Vance's novels have all been highly successful! when adapted to the screen so thai “The Brass Bowl" should be welcomed by picturegoers at the Town Hall next. Saturday. Full of thrills and mystei ions twists. ‘“The Brass Bowl” offers exceptional acting opportunities to its line cast headed by Edmund Lowe and Claire. Adams. ROYAL PICTURES. In the company besides Richard Talma dge. known as "the man of a thousand thrills," in “East. Company," to be screened at the Royal Theatre to-morrow night are AJiidred Harris, .Suit/, Edwards, Douglas Gerrard, Sheldon Lewis, .Jack Herrick and Charles Clary, all players of prominence. The picture is full of speed and every stunt performed by Talmadge, is possible in real life. In other words, the situations are not forced but legitimate. But it is the speed with which the plot: moves, and the fact that Talmadge performs so many daring thrillfc, that caused those who witnessed it to credit with being a feature length picture with serial value.

The Red lieu hotel, an historic two-story frame structure and relic of the early gold rush days of California, was wrecked by dynamite and completely destroyed to add realism to one of the big scenes in “Canyon of the Pools,” Harry Carey's fourth starring vehicle for E. 8.0. release, at the Royal Theatre on Friday.

A reminder is given that another of the Foxton Soccer Club’s sex*ies of euchre parties will be field in the Town Hall supper-rooru this evening. An enjoyable-"time is promised all who attend. Proceeds in aid of the Club’s funds.
