On Thursday afternoon n Presbyterian Mission afternoon was held at the residence of Mrs Lar--(*11. presided over bv Mrs P. .McDonald. The meeting was opened with prayer and matters in connection with Mission work fully discussed. At the conclusion iif the meeting afternoon tea was handed round by the' hostess. The next meeting will be held at the residence "I Mrs. Strang.

Mr, ('hristolVerson, who for some time has been in charge of the Beach school, and who is now leaving the Beach, was tendered a farewell social at Hie residence of Airs Pederson last night, a full roP'lrl of which will appear in our next issue.
