FOXTON RACING CLUB

ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS. The annual meeting of the Fox ion Racing Club will be held in the sup-per-room of tin 1 Town Hall on Monday, August 3rd. A deputation from your Committee interviewed the Minister of Internal Affairs with a view-to iiblaining an extra permit, and, although unsuccessful, the .Minister assured them that their application would receive due consideration at a later date. The Flub have been allotted Friday and Saturday, 21st and 22nd January, I92ti, for the next race meeting. It is with deep regret that we have to record the deaths of the following members of the t ’lull: —Messrs A. Keith, A. Ileasman, B. Ling, L. Bigolt, W. .). Xeylon and A. Such ballot paper to lie sealed and returned to the chairman by 8 p.m. on the night of the annual general meeting.”
