“A SELF MADE FAILURE.” Lloyd Hamilton, who plays the role of “Breezy,” the tramp-pal of Ben Alexander, in “A SBlt‘ Made Failure," J. K. McDonald’s latest. First National picture, to be shown at the Royal Theatre to-n'ight, is seen at, the height of his cinema career in this big seven-reel farce comedy, Hamilton, who was attracted by the role offered hint in this production, temporarily deserted his own productions to accept it.

Gay life in Paris; the glamour and romance of that city of Life and Enchantment; the Latin Quarter and the gay abandon of studio life; the Apaches’ haunts; the reckless romance of the Mardi Gras. Think of it all in one great picture, the mystery of the Paris underworld, jealousy and hatred, action and thrills. Does not the title alone stir the imagination with thoughts of mystery, and featuring such artists as Lon Chancy and John Gilbert, with a big supporting cast, you can expect something great, and you get it! To be shown at the Royal on Monday.

“MY LADY’S DRESS.” Seldom in motion pictures is the public given such an acting treat, in combination with, such a superb production, as happens in “My Lady’s Dress,” the leading feature in to-night’s Town Hall entertainment. “My Lady’s Dress” is really live plays skilfully woven into one. Two of the leading players enact five different parts each. Estelle Taylor has the feminine lead. She plays the grand lady, a French weaver, a crippled girl of the slums, tlie unfaithful wife of a Russian fur hunter, and a. beautiful model in a fashionable dressmaking establishment. Marc McDermott plays opposite her in all the scenes. In addition to the big feature, a. special comedy, “Stretching the Truth, ’ and Fox News are screening tonight, when prices will be as usual. On Monday evening a Last-mov-ing Western drama, “North of Nevada,” will head the list. Fred Thompson and the trained horse “Silver King," are responsible for the smart action and stunts iu this film. A. Larry Sewon comedy, “Midnight Cabaret,” a coloured cartoon and the latest Pathe Gazette, complete Monday’s list. Prices as usual.
