WEEKLY MEETING.

The members present at Tuesday night’s meeting of the Management Committee, held at Levin, were: —Messrs Rimmer (chairman), Anderson, Robertshaw, McMillan, Sloan, W. Dalzell, Carmichael (secretary). 'The following correspondence was submitted: — From Mr G. X. Emmett, who refereed the Junior Foxton v. Tokomaru match on 11th July, stating that Huff, a. player in the Foxton team, was cautioned for the use of bad language, but on his apology : he referee allowed him to continue playing. The Tokomaru team last week lodged a protest to the effect that Huff had been ordered off the field, and was subsequently reinstated after a. short interval on the touch lino.—Held that the protest from Tokomaru Club be not upheld. There was a discussion in connection with the appointing of four extra members on the committee, when the new amalgamation comes into force, and it was decided to hold a meeting of club delegates to consider who the new members shall be, and also to read the new rules under the amalgamation.
