LONDON WOOL SALES
Messrs Levin and Co. Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated the 14th July, 1025: “The auctions show a dropping tendency; competition not as good as at the opening of the present series. Superior Crossbreds and Slipe wools generally are unchanged, ordinary Crossbreds 5 per cent cheaper. The following prices are current for average farmers lots at the sales now proceeding: — “Greasy Merino, 23d to 27d per lb.; scoured do., 3/0; greasy super Half bred's, oil’s, 2Ud to 22d; do,, line, 50/sO's ISd to 20d; greasy lialfbrods, 4S/50’s lOd to 17d; do., hue Crossbreds, 40/48’s 14d to 15d; do., medium, 44/46’s’ 13d to 14£dj do., coarse, 40/44’s 12£d to 13^d; do., low, 30/40’s 12d to 13d; do., Crossbred pieces lid to 12d; do., bellies 10id to llAd; do., locks 7d to Bd."
