10/- OB EACH CHILD, 25/- FOE WIDOWS. Wellingtou, Last Night. The Motherhood Endowment Bill, which Mr M. J. Savage, one of Auckland's Labour members, is endeavouring to have adopted by Parliament, proposes that there shall be cash payments of 10s weekly for every child who is under 15 years of age, the Bill to apply to children where there are more than two children in tlie family.
