TENNIS CLUB BALL.
The Tenuis Club held their annual bull in the Town Hall on Thursday night. The attendance was rather disappointing there being an absence of visitors. However all present seemed to enjoy themselves and the ball was voted a social, if not linancial success. The interior of the hall had been decorated with tight blue and dark blue streamers with balloons and looked charming. The music was supplied by Larkin's Orchestra, who were in their usual good form, extras being played by Airs Cauglitrey, Miss Arnold and Air Hirini. Alessrs. S. Bryant and C. Summons officiated as A 1 s C. During the evening the Clubs president Air. C. Simmons presentedthe winner of tlie Walton Kosey Bowl for the past season, Aliss E. Owen, with the trophy. The ladies committee wish to thank ail who donated cakes etc, towards the supper.
