SEVERE CASUALITIES IN SOI'THERN CALIFORNIA.
Another severe earthquake is reported from the Wcjdern lulled States, the centre being apparently
at Santa Barbara, on the coast of Southern California, 270 miles south-east of San Francisco and 70 miles -north-west of Bos Angeles. Several lives were lost and hundreds injured, and great material damage resulted. Bos Angelos. 20th .him*.
