In the past tine issue of 12-trip tickets was confined to distances not over 25 miles and they were available only for the purchaser and could be used only during the week in which they were purchased. 50-trip tickets haves not been issued and in both eases the tickets have not been issued for many years. Now, however, in addition to 12-trip 50-trip tickets will be issued and in both eases the. tickets are obtainable bet ween any two stations, their availability is unrestricted, and they are also transferable, thus enabling one’s family and friends fo travel on tlie one ticket. The innovation should prove a great boon to users of the railways. v
