Saturday next, the 4th of July, is \r, be known throughout, the district served by the Palmerston North Hospital as Hospital Saturday. It is the desire of the promoters of the scheme to raise a fund for the purpose of providing comforts, ]jtlie things that mean such a lot in tli ( > sufferers, for the patients at the Hospital. Neighbouring towns ;,re making special efforts to raise their share, and elsewhere in this issue t lie Mayor of Fox ton calls tor volunteers to sell badges for the benefit of the fund. A retiring collection will also lie taken up at the local churches.
