HIGH- COMMISSIONERS REPORT. The High Commissioner s cable dated the 20th instant, reads: “Hemp, Manila market quiet and values lower during this week but closed firmer. “J” grade, JulySeptember shipments sold at £4l. New Zealand market quiet with small sale of high points, August shipment reported at £3O hut no buyers here over £35. June-Aug-ust shipments valued £34 10s Oil., and fair quoted at sellers £33 any position.”
