WEDDING.
LYNCH —BO WE. A very pretty wedding of considerable local and district interest was solemnised at St. Alary s Church, .Foxton, last Wednesday, the contracting parties being Eileen Constance, youngest daughter of MY and Mrs T. Bo we, of Marotiri, ami John Jeremiah, youngest son of Mr and Mrs John Lynch, of Grey Sln-et, Palmerston North. The ecicmony was conducted by the Rev. Father AlcDermot, assisted by Rev. Father Doolaghty. The bride enteted the church on the arm of her father to the strains of the Wedding .March played In Miss Delany. Thu bride was charmingly attired in a frock of cream shimmerinu with an overdress of hand-made Indian lace and fur trimming with silver .-'hoes and wore the orthodox veil and orange blossom, (the veil being the gift of -Miss Diamond) ami carried a shower bouquet of carnations and roses. The bride was attended by -Miss Julia Bowe (sister) who wore a coral iambile frock, trimmed with a darker shade of georgette and black fur and a black cloche hat with touches of coral, and .Miss Emily Lynch, (sister of bridegroom) attired m an apricot chiffon velvet with georgette and ostrich trimming and black hat. Both carried a bouquet of gold zemtias and autumn leaves. Miss Connie Ouglov, niece of the bridegroom acted as Lower girl, and won- a powder blue chiffon velvet truck and blue hat with autumn tinted Lowers anil carried a posey oi pale pink aza.lias. and hypiscus. Air Norman Crude officiated as best man, ami Air Redwood Bowe, (brother of the bride), as groomsman. The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a set of pearl earrings, to the bridesmaids gold pendants, and to the Lower i girl a gold armlet. The bride's present to the bridegroom was a set of ivory-backed military brushes. The church was lustfully decorated by the friends of tiie bride. At the conclusion of the ceremony the wedding breakfast was held in the Town llall supper-room which was prettily decorated for the occasion. Eighty guests sat. down hi the breakfast, at which the usual toasts were honoured and teiiciious speeches made. Later in the afternoon the happy couple left for the south where i lie honeymoon is to be spent, the bride’s travelling dress being a cinnamon coloured costume with fur trimming and hat to match. The bride's mother was dressed in a navy costume with black and silver hat and carried a posey of violets. The bridegroom’s mother wore a black tuaroeaiii frock with black hat trimmed with plumes and carried a posey of pansies. As evidence of the high esteem in which Lite young couple were held they were made the recipients of numerous and valuable presents and received congratulatory messages from all parts of the district. The bouquets were the present of -Mi’s Ongley.
Together with the young couple s many friends we wish them health and happiness in their future.
