TECHNICAL SCHOOL OLD GIRLS V. FOXTON. This match was won by Technical School Old Girls by 3 goals to Foxtail's 2. It was a beautiful day, and the ground was a bit rough. The scores were a good indication of the merits of the game. Foxton scored first after a good passing rush in the first five minutes. Aliss Patterson finishing off the effort. Tech, replied and Aliss Isaacs netted the ball. For the rest of the spell, Tech, dominated the game, Aliss Guy getting another goal. In the second spell, the game was very even. Foxton spoilt some fine rallies by getting off-side. Good play enabled Aliss Isaacs to get another goal for Tech, and just before time the continued efforts of the Foxton girls enabled them to score again, Aliss Patterson being again the scorer. For the winners, Aliss Bentley, on the right wing, was the outstanding player on the field, she having many solo runs and unselfishly passing in the ball when she got near the circle. Miss Isaacs, as bully, was a tower of strength and is a real warrior. For Foxton, Aliss Walls played a good game but lacked proper support. The backs acquitted themselves well, Aliss Patterson also playing well. In both teams the great weakness is in (.he half-line. Alessrs. Clarke and Wilson were the icterees. Players are requested to turn out * lu a practice which will be held on Tuesday morning at 7 o'clock, when Mr Clarke will be present to coach.
