FOXTON TENNIS CLUB
A meeting of the Ladies of the Ball Committee was held in the Town Hall on Friday night. The following committees were formed : Fruit salad: Misses C. Walsh, M. Sie\ ensoti, 11. Fcrreau; cakes: Misses I. Austin, 11. Barber, E. Owen, M. Delany, Mesdames. S. Austin, Bryant, Stanley; tritle: Misses 1. Robinson, G. Robinson; sandwiches: Misses -J. McMurray, B. Speirs, B. Pearson, Mrs Ball, and Mrs McLaren. A full committee meeting will be held at the end of the month to make final arrangements for the ball. Wose Bowl. —The winner of the Rose Bowl this season is Miss E. Owen, who defeated Miss Speirs in the final, 40 —27.
