HOCKEY.
West End Old Girls easily defeated Foxton at Palmerston North on Wednesday, although Foxton gave a very creditable exhibition. The slippery nature of the ground troubled the visitors. The following scored for W.E.0.G.: M. Newt'll (2), M. Stratton (2), G.Bartlett (2), L. Schlieriki (1). Foxton’s goal was secured by E. Patterson. Mr. Inkpen refereed.
