RACING.
MEETING AT LEVIN. The Levin Racing Club had a beautiful day for its extra winter meeting and the attendance was a record in the club’s history. Racing was interesting throughout and although the course was on the heavy side the times, in the. circumstances, were very good, ’file totalisator handled £16,474 10s. Results:— Ohau Hack Hurdles: Eonark 1, Bestir 2, Redhead 3. Won by one and a half lengths. Time 2.48. Hack Welter: Star Shell, Gardant 2, Beaumont 3. Won by a length each way. Time 1.30. Maiden Race: Olympic 1, Luarne 2, Sasham 3. Won by a length. Time 1.17 2-5. Mako Mako Hack: Town Crier 1, Salamis 2, Miss Ilupana 3. Won by a length each way. Time 1.17. Levin Handicap: Imperial Spark 1, Megan 2, Tanadees 3. Won by a length. Time 2.9 1-5. McDonald Menforial Handicap: Lucius 1, Benmure 2, Loyal Maid 3. Won by a short head each way. Time 1.30. Heatherlea Hack: Luarne 1, Lieutenant Bill 2, Modern 3. Mon by half a length. Time 1.2 2-5.
