HOCKEY NOTES.

The Feilding anil District Hockey Association held their annual tourney on Victoria Park yesterday. Weather conditions were fair, a cold driving rain setting in shortly after midday. Nevertheless a most enjoyable day was spent by both players and spectators. The cup in the Ladies Competition went to Dannevirke Old Girls’ A after a hard fought contest with the Iluias from Tailiape, the score being 1 goal to nil. The results of the games played by local teams competing were. — Foxton A nil v. P.N.H.S. O.G. 3; Foxton A 2 v. Stanway A nil; Foxton A 1 v. Ohakea B 1; Foxton Bail. v. Halcombe 1; Foxton B nil v. Tailiape Old Girls
