An inquest on Hie body of Gilbert Tremaine, a shunter who died as Iho rosult of having- both lo«?«= run over, was held to-dav. The Coroner recommended that a departmental inquiry be held, in order that an expert estimate of the circumstances might -be made. A shunter who gave evidence alleged that shunters were harried by “blisters." and conscquentlv were disposed to take risks in order to gel their work through.
