S.M. COURT.
The monthly sitting of the local S.M. Court was held in the Court House yesterday before Air J. L. Stout, S.M.
ILLEGALLY OX LICENSED PREMISES. Thomas Murphy, charged with being illegally on the licensed premises of the Manawatu Hotel on Sunday, 22nd April, was convicted and lined £2 with costs 7/-. CIVIL CASES.
Judgment was given for plaintiff in the following undefended
If. MeMullinn (Mr Pollings) v. S. Harris, claim £3 12s Od, costs 31 (i; Eoxton Rorough Council (Alr Rergin) .v Hamuera Whatuiti, claim £2 3s Bd, costs 28/0; Mrs Griffen v. Paul Tamihana, claim i’s 10s Od, costs 37/0; A. R. Osborne v. Kauri l’alea, claim £3 2s Od, costs 235.
The case Manawatu Rabbit Roard v. P. E. Baldwin was adjourned until June 11). Alfred G. Kaywood, charged with driving a motor car without a driver's license, was lined 10s with costs 7/-.
