MASONIC.
A large gathering assembled at the Foxton .Masonic Lodge last night, when Bro. F. G. Alexander, S.W., was installed as W.AI. for the ensuing year. The ceremony was conducted by Rt. Wor. Bro. .). A. Nash, P.G.S.W., as Installing Alasler, assisted by Wor. Bro. .1. AfeArdle and Wor. Bro. C. Alarlin, aciing-Grand Lodge Officers, and Wor. Bro. -Jno. Ross.
Visitors were present from all parts of the district. The usual Masonic banquet was not held, owing to the Lodge being in mourn-
The installation meeting of Lodge Mangahao look place at (Shannon on Monday evening when Bro. i ‘ 11. Spoirs was installed a W.AI. for the ensuing year'. The ceremony was carried out by Rt. Woe. Bro. .1. 11. Nash, P.X.G.W., assisted by Rt. Wor. Bro. G. Russell. Prow G.M. and Grand Lodge officers. On account of tlie Lodge being in mourning, the usual Masonic banpuet was not held. Visitors were present from all parts of the district.
