The total number of passengers c arried on all sections in the twelve months ended 31st March, 1925, was 12,424,012, a decrease of 1,412,299, compared with the previous year.
Goods tratlin showed an increase ,n tonnage carried of 83,150, the totals being 0 002,007 and 0,519,457. The number of cattle, sheep and pigs transported by rail, namely. 8,457,470, was 413,005 more t ban in t lie previous year.
