PRIESTS BEFORE COURT. Wellington, Last Night. Thomas Frederick Connolly and i’lullip Edward Fallon, Catholic priests, were charged at the Magistrate’s Courl 10-day with permitling children under the age of sixteen years to allend church. The defendants pleaded guilty. Counsel explained they had announced from the altar that children were not to attend, and relied on parents to see the law was carried out. Magistrate dfsinifc>sed both informations on the payment of costs.
