FOXTON HARBOUR BOARD.
Notice is given in this issue of the constitution of the newly elected Foxloii Harbour Board, which is as follows: —J. A. Nash, M.P. (Palmerston North). T. J. Clapham (Feilding). A. 0. Holms (Levin), and J. Clir.vstall and R, MeMurrav (Foxton). Mr E. R. B. Holdenis Covernment representative on the Board and the election of the County representatives (Messrs Linklater. M.P. and IT. E. Barber) does not take place until next year, these latter being members of the Board until! such election takes place.
Mr A. E. Earl, of Palmerston Xorth. was yesterday appointed storeman to the Foxton Harbour Board. Mr Earl has had considerable English and colonial experience of the work for which he was selected. He will commence his m-w duties on May 18th.
Arrangements have been made in ith the Railway Department by the Chairman of the Foxton Harbour Board (Air -J. Linklater, ALP.)
i- extend the time for taking over the Foxton wharf. The Board will mu now assume control until May I Sth Wi.-lead of May 11, as previously agreed upon.
